Will I get native 4K Ultra HD?
Yes. Like all films made before the advent of digital filmmaking, Easy Rider was shot on traditional analogue film, which (logically) also did not undergo digital post-production and was therefore finished entirely photochemically. This allowed the studio to turn to the archival negatives, treat them as part of the restoration process, scan them in 4K, further refine them digitally and then produce a native 4K master. The UHDBD therefore comes from a native Ultra HD transfer, which benefits not only from compression quality, but above all from a greater amount of image detail, better definition of the film grain, and a more balanced presentation in terms of color and brightness thanks to HDR.
