Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. Free Guy is technically intriguing because similarly VFX-heavy titles are typically finished in 2K, yet Shawn Levy's action-comedy received a native 4K master. Moreover, raw footage was captured at up to 6.5K resolution thanks to large-format Arri Alexa 65 cameras. The foundation for a high-quality transfer is therefore rock-solid, and the UHDBD clearly extracts the maximum from its source elements. While international reviews note that the HDR grade is dimmer than the SDR version and thus feels slightly less punchy, that does not detract from the film's fine detail rendering.
