Freeway Collection 4k | Limited Collector´s Edition | Freeway + Freeway II: Confessions of a Trickbaby

Yes. Both of writer-director Matthew Bright's subversive crime thrillers – Freeway (1996, shot by John Thomas on spherical Panavision cameras) and Freeway II: Confessions of a Trickbaby (1999, shot by Terry Stacey) – were captured on classic 35mm film and finished completely photochemically without a digital intermediate. Presented across two dedicated 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray discs, both transfers are sourced from brand-new 4k scans and meticulous restorations of the original 35mm camera negatives, with the first film including both the theatrical cut and the long-unavailable uncut version. Compared to legacy DVD and broadcast masters, these native 4k presentations deliver a massive leap in fine detail, organic 35mm grain definition, and facial and costume textures. HDR-10 and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) bring fresh punch to the gritty 1990s palette, bold desert and neon hues, deep blacks, and highlight gradation. Both cult classics arrive on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray in archival quality equivalent to owning a 35mm print – they will never look better on home video.
