Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

In the vast majority of cases, computer-generated films are rendered in 2K, as producing the same material at 4K resolution is several times more expensive and time-consuming. How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World therefore also exists only in 2K. With an animated film, however, raw resolution matters far less than the other video attributes—and here Ultra HD Blu-ray delivers what other formats cannot match: the deeper luminance range of HDR and the wider color palette of WCG. This combination brings major advantages to the film's visuals through markedly superior contrast and color reproduction, transforming the viewing experience and immersion. Fantasy films with colorful worlds benefit enormously from this aspect, making it clear that How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World in UHD with HDR and WCG offers a reference-quality presentation.
