Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Animated films today are rendered almost exclusively in 2K, as 4K computer animation remains extraordinarily demanding even for state-of-the-art hardware and wouldmake production costs skyrocket. For UHDBD, Ferdinand is therefore upsampled from 2K. That shouldn't be an issue, however, since upscaled animation behaves differently from upscaled live-action footage—in terms of fine detail rendering, the "lower" base resolution is virtually imperceptible. What matters most to visual perception is the presence of HDR, which leverages enhanced contrast and expanded color volume to elevate the transfer well beyond the reach of an SDR Full HD Blu-ray.
