Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Although the film was rendered in 2K at the time of production, it was remastered in 4K for its UHD release. While not a full re-render—which would be financially prohibitive—an upgrade is still to be expected, as confirmed by international reviews: the transfer delivers a clear improvement over the previous Blu-ray and stands as the finest presentation to date, brought to life both by upsampling and by the transition to HDR and its accompanying WCG. The image's luminance and color limits have thus been unlocked. As always, Final Fantasy has never looked or sounded better—and never will.
