Do I get native 4K ULTRA HD?

Yes – and you can expect absolutely reference-level quality. Mickey 17 was shot primarily using ARRI Alexa 65 digital cameras (supplemented to a lesser extent by Alexa Mini LFs), which are relatively new but already near-legendary large-format cameras. Their digital sensors emulate classic 65mm analog film in size. As such, they capture raw footage at 6K resolution, which provides more than enough source material for a full-fledged 4K post-production workflow.

Given the film’s genre, which demands not only high-quality visuals but also equally high-end CGI (and lots of it), we can look forward to a technically precise audiovisual presentation that pushes the current upper limits of Hollywood’s technological capabilities. In short, another technically polished spectacle – and one that truly benefits from a spacious triple-layer disc, offering data bitrates far beyond what any current streaming service can deliver.
