Do I get native 4K ULTRA HD?

Yes. As is customary with McQuarrie's "impossible missions," the latest two-part installment was also shot on several types of digital cameras that complemented each other depending on the specific needs of a particular scene. The state-of-the-art Sony CineAlta Venice was therefore used in quieter scenes, the Arri Alexa Mini LF in more action-packed ones, and for the most intense action, the Z CAM E2-F6 and several other smaller cameras provided assistance.

Everything was recorded in 6K or 4.5K, which certainly gives the native 4K master plenty of source information to draw from in terms of detail and sharpness. Furthermore, unlike the previous installment, we will also get the IMAX scenes in their native aspect ratio. While the creators decided it was a distracting element in the previous film, for the final part, they have fortunately heeded the fans' calls and brought back the IMAX scenes with a variable aspect ratio.

Thus, we expect the best possible viewing experience from the disc, one that will traditionally surpass the quality of any other distribution channel, including VoD or most cinemas.
