Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. According to available information, Mortal Kombat was shot using Arri Alexa LF digital cameras, whose raw footage was recorded at 4.5K resolution and used to create a 4K master. The Ultra HD Blu-ray can therefore take full advantage of modern digital production, including high resolution, HDR grading and an expanded color gamut. Combined with HEVC encoding, the disc should deliver the maximum audiovisual quality the source material can provide, resulting in the ultimate presentation of the film.
