Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Information about the mastering of the new Jurassic World has not been made public anywhere. We only know that the film was shot on Arri Alexa 65 digital cameras, which capture at a massive 6.5K resolution, complemented by standard Arri Alexa cameras for slow-motion shots. Moreover, the filmmakers strove to use as many practical effects as possible, which would suggest the film may have finished at a 4K master. Enthusiastic international reviews would back this up, calling the transfer reference-grade and easily the best-looking entry in the entire franchise. While we cannot be certain, we do know that international reviewers describe the difference in fine detail rendering as substantial—and that, as always, alongside the resolution bump (whether from 2K or 4K), the Ultra HD Blu-ray benefits primarily from the combination of WCG and HDR, further enhanced by a Dolby Vision layer. Indeed, we raved about the quality of the transfer in our own review on Blu-space.
