Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

For War for the Planet of the Apes, Matt Reeves chose the increasingly popular Arri Alexa 65, a digital camera whose sensor matches large-format 65mm analog film in size and many of its imaging characteristics. Although it captures at a massive 6K resolution, the complexity of the digital effects dictated a lower resolution for post-production. The 6K raw footage was therefore downscaled to 2K, where the final master was completed as well. While the third installment of the Apes saga is upscaled to Ultra HD on UHDBD, thanks to both the pristine quality of the source capture and the tremendous potential of HDR, there is no doubt about the reference-grade quality of the transfer.
