Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Creed was shot on Arri Alexa XT cameras at 2.8K resolution and mastered in 2K, meaning it is upscaled to Ultra HD for this UHDBD release. In terms of fine detail rendering and sharpness, the difference is therefore minimal. However, the Ultra HD Blu-ray benefits primarily from the presence of HDR, which elevates the image well beyond the reach of the standard Blu-ray presentation. Nighttime scenes sink into richer blacks, and thanks to stronger specular highlights, the picture is both more contrasty and more lifelike. The superior handling of highlights is especially noticeable in fluorescent-lit gyms and during the finale in the sports arena, where lighting behaves in a completely different league compared to the flat Blu-ray SDR transfer.
