Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?
Yes. The Scorpion King was shot on 35mm motion picture film, with all visual effects sequences recorded back into the negative without a digital intermediate. While shots containing digital effects may look slightly softer in fine detail rendering, the entire presentation is sourced from a native 4K master (a 4K scan of the 35mm elements) that extracts the maximum detail reproduction from the film stock. The same applies to its combination of WCG and HDR. Coupled with superior compression, this is unequivocally the definitive audiovisual presentation of the film, one that no future transfer will surpass.
