Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. David Lean's war classic was shot on 65mm negative—large-format film. These oversized film strips capture vastly more visual information than standard 35mm motion picture film. The studio was therefore able to go into its archives and scan the 65mm negatives at a staggering 8K resolution. This raw scanned material was archived and then downsampled to 4K for digital restoration, the resolution at which all restoration work was performed and the new master was subsequently exported. The Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation thus draws from a native 4K source whose wealth of image information easily surpasses even most contemporary film productions. Add in the expanded color and luminance range, and it is clear that Lawrence of Arabia has never looked better and that this is a true reference disc.
