Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. Darabont's classic was created back when the entire filmmaking process was photomechanical, allowing the studio to return to the original 35mm camera negatives, restore them, scan them at a sufficiently high resolution, digitally clean them up, and then create a native 4k master. As a result, the UHD presentation benefits from a brand-new native 4k source that served as the base for a modern transfer pushing current audio-video technologies to their limits: Modern compression and ample space on a triple-layer disc deliver a crystal-clear encode alongside razor-sharp detail and film grain. HDR further ensures that the transfer makes full use of the film stock's exposure latitude.
