Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. All of Alfred Hitchcock's films were naturally made in the analog era via photochemical capture on 35mm motion picture film. For the first 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Hitchcock's classics, Universal pulled these film elements from its archives, completely restored them, scanned them in 4K, and created a native 4K master from those scans for each title in the collection.

There is no question that Hitchcock's films have never looked better: 4K resolution extracts nearly the theoretical maximum from the 35mm film stock, while HDR and WCG draw out every last nuance of color from these thrillers and harness the generous exposure latitude of the analog elements. As we already know, even black-and-white films benefit from HDR technology. These are unquestionably reference-grade discs whose only visual limitations appear during optical effects shots or instances of irreversible film damage (most of which the restoration has eradicated anyway).
