Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

Yes. All of Alfred Hitchcock's films were naturally made in the analog era via photochemical capture on 35mm motion picture film. For the first 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Hitchcock's classics, Universal pulled these film elements—including Rear Window—from its archives, completely restored them, scanned them in 4K, and created a native 4K master from those scans for each title in the collection.

There is no question that Hitchcock's films have never looked better, and Rear Window is no exception: 4K resolution extracts nearly the maximum from the theoretical resolution of 35mm film, while HDR and WCG draw out every last shade of color from the thriller and make full use of the analog stock's considerable exposure latitude. There is no doubt this is a reference disc, whose visual weaknesses only appear during optical effects or where the film strip suffered irreversible damage (though restoration has largely eliminated the latter).
