Paprika 4k | Steelbook

Satoshi Kon's visionary sci-fi anime masterpiece Paprika (2006) was produced at Studio Madhouse combining intricate hand-drawn 2D animation with pioneering digital compositing finished at 2k resolution. For its Ultra HD Blu-ray release, Sony Pictures created a new 4k remaster (upsampled from the original digital master) housed on a high-capacity BD-100 disc with HDR-10, Dolby Vision, and a new Dolby Atmos mix. While the resolution uptick primarily yields cleaner, more stable line art free of compression noise, the true showstopper is the Dolby Vision and Wide Color Gamut pass—psychedelic dream parades, neon signage, and kaleidoscopic color transitions blaze with an intensity and depth the standard Blu-ray simply cannot match.
