Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

For major Hollywood tentpoles that rely heavily on a vast number of digital effects, a 2K master is standard practice, as rendering VFX and running the entire post-production pipeline in 4K would be several times more demanding in terms of both time and budget. Godzilla: King of the Monsters is therefore upsampled to UHD from a 2K master. Given the film's visual opulence, however, what matters far more is that the title features an expanded color and luminance palette. HDR is what elevates video packed with dark scenes and dramatic specular highlights to the next level—surpassing not only the capabilities of standard Blu-ray, but theatrical presentations as well.
