    4k REVIEW

Directed by Ridley Scott and shot by his longtime cinematographer Dariusz Wolski, The Dog Stars was captured digitally on large-format ARRI Alexa 65 and ARRI Alexa Mini LF cameras in 6.5k and 4.5k resolution using anamorphic lenses. Post-production and Dolby Vision color grading were completed on a native 4k digital intermediate (4k DI).

Presented on a BD-66 disc, the presentation draws directly from the native 4k master, showcasing the crisp fine detail of the large-format digital photography, natural depth of field, and nuanced highlight and shadow gradation in Dolby Vision / HDR10, paired with a reference-grade English Dolby Atmos soundtrack.

Tak to je překvapení roku. A příjemné. Dost dobrý film. Kolosální propadák a vyjde u nás s českou podporou. Už jsem se připravoval na objednávku z ciziny a trable s titulkováním a ejhle. Zajímavé. Děkuji Magic boxu za odvahu a Štěpánovi za možnost zbavit se nějakého toho oběživa.
