Will I get native 4k Ultra HD?

By creative design, Godzilla is an extremely dark film. Far more important than resolution (the master topped out at 2K) is therefore the work done by HDR and modern compression. The original Blu-ray presentation suffered from unbalanced luminance dominated by murky gray tones. Thanks to HDR, the UHDBD improves black levels, contrast, and luminance gradations alike. It delivers brighter colors and superior shadow detail without sacrificing deep blacks. Because of its darkness, Godzilla places heavy demands on both the transfer and your display. In any case, the UHDBD represents the definitive version of the film: given its 2K master, it will never look any better.
